**Shop Helper** **1st shift** **$20 - $25 per hour** **Job Description** This position will be assisting different people at the shop with manufacturing and shop needs. **Responsibilities** + Deburring plastic parts + Heat bending (nice to have) + Using hand tools to put inserts in parts + Plastic routing (nice to have) - a fabrication process that uses specialized equipment to cut, shape, or trim plastic parts to meet specific specifications + Organizing and labeling products + Sweeping, cleaning, and organizing the shop + Assisting machinist or other workers with projects + Measuring items + Helping with other shop needs as required **Essential Skills** + General labor + Hand tool usage + Grinding + Power tool usage + Packaging + General production + Measurement + Manufacturing + Deburring + Labeling + Inventory control + Fabrication + Calipers **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Hand and power tools proficiency + Basic computer skills + Ability to use measurement tools + Ability to convert measurements **Work Environment** Indoor clean fabricating shop. 1st shift 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday. **Location** Poway, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
