Job Overview Reports to: Foreman, Shop Shift: 5x2- Monday-Friday 7:00am- 3:30pm Location: Sudbury, ON Safety Sensitive:Yes- drug & alcohol testing, physical demand fit testing, RCMP criminal record check and submission of 5-year provincial driving record will be required Relocation: This position does not offer relocation Key Job Responsibilities + Maintain, repair, and service underground mining equipment + Disassemble, diagnose and repair mechanical and hydraulic components + Adjust, repair, or replace defective equipment parts and components Qualifications/Requirements + Valid Driver’s License required + Able to safety life 50lbs unassisted + Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems is required + Exposure to mechanical component rebuilds is required + Previous experience in hydraulic rock drilling equipment and hydraulic drifters is an asset + Ability to read and interpret drawings + Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy + Able to demonstrate aptitude for problem-solving + Self-motivated, can multi-task and manage change in responsibilities + Result-oriented and able to work both independently and within a team Additional Information At Komatsu (Joy Global Canada), we come from diverse backgrounds, with unique perspectives, experiences and contributions.
