POSITION SUMMARY

 

This role is responsible for analyzing, installing, moving, troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing complex industrial equipment.

 

What you’ll do:

 

 

·         Assists with modifications to existing machinery and equipment to facilitate new production techniques and or improved equipment reliability.

·         Troubleshoots, repairs and rebuilds manual and automatic mechanical assemblies with proficiency and versatility, including electric, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.  Performs basic fabrication, piping and machining

·         Performs preventative maintenance according to equipment schedules

·         Collaborates and communicates with co-workers and management on topics, including concerns, issues and continuous improvement activities

 

 

What you’ll need to be successful:

·         High School or GED

·         Minimum 3 years of applicable mechanic experience.

 

What you bring to the table:

 

 

·         Good verbal and written communication skills

·         Strong diagnostic and trouble-shooting skills

·         Ability to work in a team environment with interpersonal communication skills

·         Ability to perform physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks; to include frequent bending, kneeling and lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
