**Job Title: Shop Mechanic**
**Job Description**
The Shop Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of vehicles and equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment.
+ Diagnose mechanical issues and determine appropriate repair solutions.
+ Conduct inspections and identify potential problems before they become major issues.
+ Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately assess vehicle conditions.
+ Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work.
+ Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
+ Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
+ Keep the shop area clean and organized
**Essential Skills & Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in automotive technology preferred.
+ Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar role.
+ Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components.
+ Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Strong communication and customer service skills.
+ Valid driver's license.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a permanent position based out of Buda, Texas.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00
