**Job Title: Shop Service Technician** **Job Description** We are looking for local mechanics to assist and repair our existing fleet of petroleum and gas trucks. This candidate will be utilizing hand and power tools daily, following repair and service procedures. **Responsibilities** + General repairs on propane and refined fuel trucks and transports + Inspecting trucks and trailers to determine necessary service/repairs + Repairing pumps, meters, valves, and piping systems + Electronic equipment troubleshooting and repair + Meter calibrations + Repairing 12-volt systems and lights + Welding and tank repair is preferred, but not required **Essential Skills** + Experience in repair and service + Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics + Expertise in brakes, suspensions, lights, and body work + Proficiency with hand and power tools + Engine troubleshooting and service + Electrical troubleshooting + Installation and preventive maintenance **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to read 1/8”, 1/16”, and 1/32” gradations on a tape measure + Ability to convert feet to inches and vice versa + Welding experience is helpful + Tool identification + Exhibits good communication skills when working with fellow employees + Attention to detail and quality standards + Upholds company core values + Ability to tolerate physical demands of the position + Ability to complete tasks according to planned schedule + Willingness to help out where needed + Maintains a clean and organized work area **Why Work Here?** You will have the potential to move into a lead or management role within a year, as many others have done the same. The offices have been recently remodeled. Work is all in the shop consistent with 4 truck bays. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
