Things You’ll Do + Oversee all shop employees, equipment, plant maintenance, and condition of facility. + Oversee the completion of maintenance projects. + Monitor employee training and certification. + Set and oversee the achievement of performance standards. + Responsible for weekly reports. + Perform duties of a lead mechanic. + Assist with shop recruiting, hiring, promotion, and corrective action. + Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental requirements. Requirements + Able to work hours 7-5 pm. + Two-year diesel mechanic certificate preferred. + 7+ years’ experience at journeyman level strongly preferred. + Ability to operate a forklift. + CDL is a plus + Exceptional interpersonal, problem solving, and technical skills + Knowledge of equipment, vehicle, and plant maintenance + Exerting up to 75 lbs. of force regularly. + Regular exposure to the elements. + Frequent bending, standing, lifting, and ongoing physical activity.
