**Job Title: Shop Technician**
**Job Description**
Shop technicians will be utility type candidates. Daily tasks will include cleaning and prepping equipment for customers, fabricating parts and equipment for rental, performing weekly and monthly preventative maintenance checks on equipment, painting units and trailers, and maintaining the facility and rental boiler units before they go out to customer sites. Shop technicians will cross-train and support the repair and fabrication departments at the shop, as well as manage the inventory of parts and supplies, and order new parts for the repair and fabrication departments.
**Responsibilities**
+ Clean and prep equipment for customers
+ Fabricate parts and equipment for rental
+ Perform weekly and monthly preventative maintenance checks on equipment
+ Paint units and trailers
+ Maintain the facility and rental boiler units before they go to customer sites
+ Cross-train and support the repair and fabrication departments
+ Manage inventory of parts and supplies
+ Order new parts for repair and fabrication departments
**Essential Skills**
+ Mechanical knowledge and proficiency
+ Ability to use hand and power tools
+ 2-5 years of experience in a mechanical/fabricator type job (e.g., mechanic, maintenance, fabricator, welding, customer relations, inventory duties)
+ Troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experience
+ Ability to pass an OSHA 10 course or currently hold an OSHA 10 card

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00
