Along with expertly servicing lift trucks our technicians are often the main point of contact for our customers. What You Will Be Doing: * Troubleshoot electro-mechanical problems, installations, and perform scheduled / unscheduled repairs and maintenance on equipment on customer demand and need. * Diagnose and repair forklifts and other equipment in accordance with established guidelines and procedures. * Perform preventive maintenance on equipment according to the schedule. * Perform necessary repairs to correct analyzed situations in a professional manner. * Prepare documentation relating to each service call in a timely manner. * Attend training classes and other company activities as required. * Exhibit a professional demeanor, promoting goodwill between the company and customers by providing a superior level of customer service. * You will provide shop/field training to new technicians to supplement formal training programs. What Makes Me Qualified?  * Need to maintain a valid driver's license. * 1 to 3 years of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic experience in a similar environment * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Working knowledge of basic D.C. electricity, basic A.C electricity, and internal combustion. * Ability to read and interpret schematics and training materials, follow verbal and demonstrated instructions. * Demonstrates a good mechanical and electrical aptitude, effectively utilizing volt, ohm, multi-meters, and oscilloscope. * Ability to communicate effectively with customers, management, and team members. * Ability to maintain a good understanding of industry innovations and product availability to make recommendations based on customer needs. * Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.
