**Job Description**

We’re looking for a planner/strategist who knows retail and who gets as passionate about deciphering shoppers behaviour and turning it to important communications as they do about big aggressive brave ideas! The LEGO Agency is responsible for crafting and building coordinated shopper comms experiences across all touchpoints both online and instore, and we'd like you to join the team to create the most engaging and effective commerce strategies for our brands
**Core Responsibilities**
+ Create and define Omni-channel shopper communications plans combining across all relevant media touchpoints
+ Bring big ideas to life across our ecosystem in both campaign periods and Always on activity, through clear, compelling and connected shopper journeys
+ Combine creativity and effectiveness through strong understanding of shopper audiences, touchpoints and media thinking
+ Apply your understanding of how brands grow, and how effective comms create impact and get results
+ Use data and research to advise your approach, whilst being open to creative innovation and exploration
+ Strong storytelling, persuasive pitching and partner engagement to get teams excited and onboard with your thinking
+ Help to craft and develop our planning processes and collaboration across marketing and channel teams.
+ Help upskill your colleagues with shopper thinking, and establish relationships across LEGO to elevate our creative commerce capabilities
+ Interested and curious about the world, challenges our view, and brings fresh opinions to how we work

The LEGO Agency is the global LEGO in-house advertising agency, crafting award-winning and compelling content and campaigns for the LEGO brand. The Global Communication Strategy department is all about understanding audience behaviours and encouraging creative work. The team leads and develops strategies for all LEGO channels across owned, earned and shared
**Do you have what it takes?**
+ Proven ability in retail/shopper/Commerce planning or strategy role, responsible for channel and campaign planning, and communication architecture.
+ Experience of using data-driven planning tools, audience insight (quail and quant) and effectiveness data to build plans, and working to within a defined planning processes.
+ Experience of working with channels / media owners to develop creative and executional thinking.
+ Ability to stay ahead and move with shopper behaviours, technology platforms, and cultural shifts
+ Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, and emotional to be a key member of our team
+ Desire to stay close to projects throughout their life-cycle to maintaining strategic and creative excellence
+ Passion for creating shopper communication work that has an impact, that matters and that’s memorable
+ Excellent presentation skills
+ Big team and cross-org collaborations
+ Is ideal to have experience within a global strategy/planning context beneficial, or working within a ‘multiple markets / regional’ capacity
Work independently with advanced knowledge, tasks are assigned with limited or no explaination
• Handling conflicts in negotiation with some guidance
• May managing ad-hoc projects or processes with support from senior colleagues
