The Property Management department in Belgium manages a real estate portfolio of 70 buildings (shopping centers, office buildings, logistics, retail), with a total surface of more than 1,5 million m². The team consists of 30 real estate professionals in charge of the financial, administrative, legal, technical and commercial management of properties throughout Belgium. The Property Management department of CBRE is looking for a “Shopping Center Manager” in Liège. **Shopping Center Manager (m/f)** **Function** The Shopping Center Manager is responsible for the daily management of shopping center Médiacité in Liège. He/she is an all-round person and will coordinate all aspects of a shopping center: facilities, (fire)security, marketing & promotion, reporting, budgets,… The Shopping Center Manager is the first contact person for tenants, suppliers, visitors as well as for the landlord of the shopping center. He/she reports to the Head of Property Management. **Tasks** •Daily follow-up, coordination and management of all activities in the shopping center •Manage the local team in the shopping center and the subcontractors •Develop and implement business plans and strategies to increase turnover figures and footfall, and to improve the center and the customer experience •Build trust and credibility towards landlord, tenants, visitors, partners, neighbors, authorities, and the local community •Follow-up on the technical aspects and facilities of the building with the support of the technical manager •Follow-up of procedures and legislation on (fire) safety and the environment, follow-up legal inspections, conformity, energy consumption,... •Drawing up, coordinating and following up budgets (CAPEX, OPEX, rental income) in consultation with the clients •Be responsible for the common charges and the marketing budget. Forecasting, executions, and closure. Develop strategies to use efficiently the budget granted. •Follow-up payments of rent and charges with accounting service and contact tenants when necessary •Drawing up and developing a marketing plan, coordination of marketing activities, promotion, publicity, social media,… to make the shopping center a success •Coordination of rental activities, pop-ups, specialty leasing, rent renewals •Follow lease negotiations to avoid vacant spaces, maximize owners’ revenue and reach optimal commercial mix, prepare adequate analyses •Administrative and legal follow-up of the building: leases, guarantees, permits,... •Correspondence and communication with owners, tenants, suppliers, authorities, media, press,... •Periodic reporting •Organization of tenant meetings and present centers’ results and strategy •Organization of management meetings and preparation of the management report •Immediate actions for all kind of possible problems **Profile** •University degree ((business) economics, law,...) •Minimum 5 years relevant experience in a commercial environment •French speaking, good knowledge of English (and Dutch) •Excellent analytical, coordinating, organizational and communication skills •Discrete and sociable personality with a sense of accuracy, team player •Hands-on, responsible and stress resistant •Proactive, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines •Commercial feeling **Offer** CBRE offers you a challenging position in a dynamic, commercial and international working environment.
