Responsibilities Job Overview: The primary responsibility of this position is to shunt trucks on the premises. Ensuring the safe movement of large vehicles and trailers around the site Assist with the truck inspection and report deviations to the Despatch Supervisor Assist with Hygiene Cleaning of loading areas Ensure all truck equipment is correct for the required load before final parking Must be prepared to stand in for other shunters Assist with loads to clients when necessary Assist with any reasonable task as required by the Despatch Supervisor Responsible for moving trucks into and out of wash bay for cleaning as required Adhering to strict health and safety guidelines Completing safety assessments Inspecting vehicles and trailers Coupling and uncoupling trailers Safely parking trailers Moving laden and un-laden trailers Qualifications Minimum of Grade 12 Valid Code 14 Driver’s License and PDP Excellent work ethics Team player Must possess initiative and drive Energetic Good time management skills Customer service orientated mindset Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to maneuver vehicles in tight spaces “PepsiCo is an Equal Opportunity Employer in line with the Employment Equity Act"
