Overview Join the NDCP team and Drive Success! Location: McDonough, GA Route: Shuttle to Nashville and possible shuttles to varying locations that may require layovers Compensation: $.58/mile Overview: Incumbent is responsible for transporting and delivering trailers of freight to applicable transportation hubs or alternate designated drop locations safely, legally and on-time. This position requires working in environments with variation in temperature and humidity due to chang ing outdoor weather conditions. Responsibilities + Safely operates a tractor trailer truck that transports frozen, cooler and dry cargo to and from various DC and hub locations. + Prepares, receives and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery of products. + Maintains logs of travel and cargo according to Federal and State DOT and Motor Carrier regulations. + Must be able to utilize and understand an on-board computer system (ie PeopleNet). + Maintains contact with the Operations department to effectively and professionally communicate any problems or delays. + Responsible for the cleanliness and presentation of the vehicle.
