 Position Summary: This part-time position is responsible for operating a CDL Class A vehicle with doubles endorsement, to pull a set of doubles to any depot location within Florida.  

Position Responsibilities:

Safety – operate all vehicles in accordance with safety protocols and procedures.Shuttles Driver – responsible for running Shuttles, or as otherwise assigned.Perform proper DOT/CSA inspection on assigned tractor/trailers.Operate vehicle within DOT regulations for safety and HOS.Verify proper load and stop sequence in each trailer compartmentVery proper temperature in each compartment.Very all ramps, ladders, and safety equipment is operational.Perform proper DOT/CSA inspection on assigned tractor/trailers.Operate vehicle within DOT regulations for safety and HOS.Exchange loaded trailers for empty trailers and return to Panama City.Unload trailers using hand or powered equipmentPick up Backhauls as assigned.Assist the delivery drivers when necessary to ensure safe and timely dispatch.Any other duties as assigned within the scope of your assigned responsibilities.

Skills & Experiences:

Valid Class A CDL with doubles endorsement. At least one year of Class A driving experience.Previous experience pulling doubles, strongly preferred. Acceptable driving/MVR record.Great customer interaction.High School diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience; or equivalent combination of education  and experience.Ability to successfully pass a background check and a drug test.Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.Language: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.Reasoning: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
