Siemens Automation Product Specialist
**Overview** GCG Automation & Factory Solutions is growing! We are seeking an **Automation Product Specialist** to support the **Siemens product line** , bridging the gap between our **sales team and application engineers** . In this role, you will leverage your **technical expertise** in automation and motion control solutions ( **PLCs, HMIs, drives/motion control, and networking** ) alongside **business development skills** to drive revenue growth across **Missouri, Kansas, and Illinois** . You will act as a **strategic partner** for internal teams and customers, helping expand Siemens product adoption and ensuring seamless technical support. **What you’ll do** + Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the Siemens automation and motion portfolio along with complimentary products and solutions + Prepare formal presentations to educate internal and external customers on proposed automation and motion technology and/or products + Support sales team through on-site customer walk-throughs and product demonstrations for larger, strategic opportunities + Assist with opportunity identification and closure at strategic customers + Assistwith technical specification review and determinationofbills of material forapplications + Perform field promotional work to secure business in new territories, within new industries, or with customers where full market potential or product line acceptance has not beenestablished + Assistwithlocal development andexecutionof product/technology marketing campaignsto drive demand generation + Document all activity in CRM. Prepare and submit periodic reports on activities. Summarize and report opportunity funnel along with probability of success **What you’ll bring** + **Education & Experience:** Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field **preferred** , with **3-4 years** of experience in automation, motion control, or general-purpose drives.
