You’ll share our purpose in energizing society by supporting customers with transitioning to a more sustainable world and will work on real global issues, creating solutions that directly make an impact. + Analysisof potential interaction between Siemens Energy Solutions and thetransmission grid. + Responsibilityfor evaluation of project requirements and calculation of the technicalparameters for the design and rating of the equipment in the solution. + Developmentand validation of calculation tools (Matlab) and simulation models for EMTsimulation tools (e.g., PSCAD/EMTDC). + Developmentof cooperation with regions worldwide and continuous improvementstandardization of calculation tools, study procedures, methods, andprocesses in project execution including documentation of results. **What You Bring** + Amaster’s degree in electrical engineering with a concentration in powersystems. + Preferredexperience with high voltage short-circuit studies, and system interactionstudies of high-voltage equipment with the electrical transmission grid. + Practicalwork experience up to 36 months including knowledge from internships,working student activities or employment + ExcellentEnglish skills to work in a multi-cultural environment, flexibility, andmobility during the program + Applicantsmust be legally authorized for employment in the United States withoutneed for current or future employer-sponsored workauthorization.
