What are your responsibilities?• Quality assurance: planning, initiation, and control of quality assurance measures (in terms of correctness, completeness, reliability, install ability and performance) for all goods and services (supplier audits)• Quality control: independent performance of supplier (third party) audits, taking into consideration relevant aspects relating to quality and EH&S; follow-up of corrective action from supplier audits and control of improvement activities.• Quality plan: development and maintenance of an optimum QA plan and technology adapted to both goods and services.• Quality processes: application of the purchasing-specific processes in agreement with Siemens' quality guidelines and project needs.• Support supplier evaluation (together with cross function e.g., engineering, projects, procurement, logistics) for both local suppliers but also HQ suppliers with global footprint and their development.• Support for delegation of QM experts of the customer to China and integration into the local SQE – function on request.What do you need to qualify for this job?• More than 3 years working experience in supplier quality or relevant field• Experience in engineering and/or quality management, have a strong knowledge of products and processes. Years of production and engineering experience in Railway Business is preferred. • Advanced level of Engineering capabilities in the similar technical field• Working experience of international company and conditional orientation ability in foreign cultures.• Significant knowledge about Quality Management System and products.• Good English ability in oral, reading and written• Good communication skills• Good eye-sight• Flexibility for travelling within China
