Silicon Photonics Field Application Engineer

This position focuses on developing ATE production test solutions for silicon photonics. 2. Collaborate with factory application, hardware, and RD teams to perform full test and device characterization of silicon photonic devices. 3. Partner with customer to develop electro-optical testing methodology of wafer chip, modules and packaged chiplet. 4. Develop codes and methodology for mechanical alignment at silicon photonic automation test equipment. 5. Provide technical support and resolution to the customers. This includes project development, production support, identification of problem areas and productively to provide prevention solution. 6. MS or higher degree with a preference in Electro-Optical Engineering, Physics, or Material Science. 2. 5+ overall years of working experience in a related field on optical systems or optical-electronics devices (lasers, detectors, modulators, transceivers, DWDM system.) 3. Familiar with optical systems, modules, components, and photonics devices. (lasers, detectors, modulators, transceivers, DWDM system.) 4. Knowledge of high-speed chip high-speed IO interfaces testing (UCIE, PCIE, USB, MIPI) is preferred. 5. Experience in test programing (VBT, C++, Python, LabView, .net, etc.) with various instruments for semiconductor device testing, wafer probers and/or optical module testing. Familiar with optical component characterization techniques and optical test equipment is a plus. 6. Strong analytical skill is required. Good knowledge on troubleshooting skill. 7.
