You Are:

UST is searching for a Silicon Solution Hardware Engineer who will execute cross component test cases and regression checks and file quality bugs within permissible limits of the program.

 

The Opportunity:

·       Set up x86 and NVIDIA SoC platforms for electrical and functional validation.

·       Set up thermal solutions, oscilloscopes and power measurement equipment.

·       Execute test plan on engineering systems that involve stress testing, functional testing, power measurements, etc.

·       Collect data from large number of systems, verify logs, identify failures/marginalities/outliers and report to the function owner.

·       Basic scripting that includes modifying existing scripts where applicable

·       Collect data/execute test plan for chip screening and fusing.

·       Measure power and collect logs using DAQ/DMM

 

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

 

What you need:

·       Computer hardware and components operation skills

·       Ability to work with Windows OS flavours and installation.

·       Ability to perform and evaluate test results against product specifications.

·       Ability to estimate effort, time required for own work.

·       Ability to perform and evaluate test in the customer or target environment.

·       Work in a team environment

·       Good written and verbal communication abilities

 

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: California

Compensation Range:  $44,000-$66,000

Our full-time, regular associates are eligible for 401K matching, and vacation accrual and are covered from day 1 for paid sick time, healthcare, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance benefits.
