Servers will be responsible for the dining experience to include greeting the guests, serving the guest in a gracious and professional manner that represents the highest of standards to ensure exceptional service to all guests that is consistent and continually in accordance with the Autograph Collection standards under the franchise of Mainsail.

What you have
High school diploma, equivalent, or higherPrevious experience in hospitality, preferably as a serverExcellent customer service skillsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to use technology, e.g., tablets, iPads, computers, and POS systemBeverage knowledge, including wine and liquorAbility to work on a team with members of the Front of House staffProven experience in describing dishes and beverages to guestsAbility to handle station, and work in a clean, organized, and efficient mannerA sense of ownership in everything that you doWhat you’ll do
Serve guest in an efficient and courteous manner following the proper steps of serviceSet up tables with items needed for service (i.e. flatware, drinkware, condiments, linens, etc.Maintain knowledge of current menu items, including ingredients, preparation, accompaniments, and saucesBus tables quickly and quietly, ensuring table is thoroughly cleanedUpsell menu items to guests, as well as pairing wine with the mealEnsure guest tables are properly set up during meal period, making sure appropriate flatware and drinkware is placedParticipate in daily cleaning of dining room and service stationsAttend monthly department meetings and daily standupsFollow cash handling procedures, and be able to explain shortages and overagesOther necessary duties as reasonably assignedPhysical Demand

All associates must always realize this fact and be aware that it may be necessary to move associates form their accustomed shift as business demands. In addition, this is a hospitality business and a hospitable service atmosphere must always be projected.
