The base pay for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 and is final decision is determined by factors such as skills, experience and location.
Tasks and Qualifications:This is What You Will do in This Role:
· Assisting in the development of discrete event simulation models to analyze the performance of material handling systems
· Supporting pre-sale efforts through the execution of throughput & sizing analysis of individual areas within a facility
· Setting up and administers simulation scenarios and experiment statistical runs
· Supporting the execution of statistical analysis, interpreting results, and presenting to project team
· Assisting in developing customer presentations
· Completing designated tasks on time and budget
· Clearly communicating complex principles, ideas, and concepts
· Using sound business judgment and discretion when handling customers’ information.
· Assisting in improving overall project team processes, documentations, and methodology of simulation deliverables
What We are Looking For:
· BS in a relevant field such as Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline
· Experience with or training in a discrete event simulation package (such as Emulate3D, FlexSim, or Plant Simulation) preferred
· Minimum, 1-3 years of experience and knowledge in simulation model development and process.
· Demonstrate competency with the discrete event simulation concepts, best practice, and methodologies
· Ability to apply statistical methods and quantitative analysis to simulation problems
· Experience with material handling systems preferred
· Eagerness and willingness to develop new skills required for continuous growth of own talent, skills, and capabilities
· Competence in structured programing language such as C/C++, C# , Python, or Java preferred
· Competence in AutoCAD and 3D Design preferred
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
