We are hiring for an experienced Simulation Curriculum Coordinator to join our Joyce University Nursing Simulation team. This important position can be either located on our Draper, UT campus or remotely for highly qualified candidates. The Simulation Curriculum Coordinator is responsible for supporting faculty and program leadership with simulation curriculum development, including resources to enhance the student learning experiences in simulation.

Promotes the mission, vision, and values of Joyce University. Highly knowledgeable in simulation standards and pedagogy, including simulation design, simulation outcomes and objectives, prebrief, debrief, and evaluation methods.Responsible for understanding theoretical principles of adult learning and educational processes in curricular design.Work collaboratively with subject matter experts to design, develop, and evaluate new simulation experiences, scenarios, simulation tools, and other educational activities, using multiple methodologies.Design, develop, and evaluate all aspects of simulation of curriculum using Healthcare Simulation Standards of Best Practice ™ (HSSOBP), while ensuring alignment to course objectives.Contribute to the development and evaluation of the simulation center goals, objectives, policies, procedures, priorities, and work standards.Develop and delivers training resources to ensure curriculum implementation is optimal.Provide professional feedback to Simulation Education Specialists and Health Science faculty, ensuring excellence in work performance and Standards of Best Practice are being met during all aspects of simulation-based Experiences (SBE). Provide input in the creation of the annual operating budget for the simulation center, including reforecasting throughout the year.Ensure scenarios, simulation tools, educational materials, supplies, and equipment is available to facilitate simulation activities.Facilitate simulation experiences as needed, operate equipment and assists with room set-up, tear-down, and moulage.Assist with, plan, and participate in regularly scheduled department meetings.Provide input into hiring of new simulation center and learning lab staff. Assists in obtaining and maintaining accreditation for the simulation program, understanding the Society for Simulation in Healthcare accreditation requirements.Promotes and support inter-professional learning activities across programs.Maintain professional growth and development through CHSE certification, seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to maintain an understanding latest trends in field of expertise, staying current with national and international advances in simulation and clinical skills activities.Other duties as assigned. RequirementsEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
License: Registered Nurse in the State of Utah (Required)
Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing (Required); Doctoral Degree in Nursing (Preferred)
Experience: 5 or more years of simulation instruction/management (Preferred)
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Location: Draper, Utah or remote possible
Employment Status: Full time
Hours of Employment: Minimum 40 hrs/week; Mon-Fri, with occasional evenings and Saturdays

Salary Description $85,000 - $95,000 Annually
