Who We AreHII-Mission Technologies is seeking a results-driven and dedicated Simulation Support Lead to join our Global Security team at Fort Bliss in El Paso, TX. This role will be supporting the Army's - Aerial Combat Defense Capabilities (ACDC) program.
What You Will DoDevelop new and/or integrates existing system simulation frameworks, performance models and algorithms, threat models and command and control models.
Develop software that simulates behavior of users and systems.
Develops, integrates and uses graphical user interfaces and visualization tools.
Model operational environments via computer simulation and provide decision support for alternative architectures.
Perform operational analysis and mission effectiveness analysis.
May build and design training models.
May develop software that simulates behavior of users and systems.
Develop, codify, and test virtual models for vehicles, sensors, actuators, and auxiliary equipment in a hydrodynamic simulation environment.
Create/enhance virtual worlds for fully integrated mission simulation.
Support development and integration of modeling and simulation standards into company processes.
Set-up, perform, and analyze hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) simulations to support various projects, tests and exercise events.
Develop and implement solutions for difficult problems involved in areas of assignment.
The duties described herein cover major duties as required. However, this does not exclude the requirement of performing related duties under normal conditions, and other duties directed by supervision.
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
Determine project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements.
Determine project schedule by consulting with subject matter experts; studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.
Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions
Define, generate, and review project requirements documentation
What You Must Have5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
Must currently have and be able to maintain an active Secret Security Clearance.
A bachelor's degree in computer science, or related field.
IAT Level II Certification (Security +)
5 years of experience with IAMD virtual training systems to include experience with Mission Training Center (MTC) Warfighter Exercise domain, LVC Simulation architectures and exercises, Network and Systems Administration.
5 years of experience with testing environments, test plan writing, test environment design, and test execution, analysis and reporting.
Experience in project management of personnel and resources.
Experience with tactical data sets and communications in an IAMD environment.
Bonus Points For...Master's degree in business administration or computer sciences.
DOD acquisition, technology development, systems integration, operations, and contract experience.
Physical Requirements May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
