Job Summary

Designer II is responsible for the accurate design of the roof and floor trusses, for single-family projects.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Design metal plate-connected wood trusses utilizing Mitek softwareOptimize designs for maximum efficiencyReview orders, layouts, and data files for accuracyAssist sales and production with design service and troubleshootingPerforms other duties as required

Qualifications

Minimum high school graduatePreferred bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalentMinimum 5 years of experience in designing roof/floor trusses for single family projectsWorking knowledge and experience using Mitek software are preferredWorking knowledge of floor and rood systems and the ability to spec out beams and hangars
