We are seeking an expert SIOP/Master Planner to join our dynamic team. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for long-term demand forecasting, inventory management, and cross-functional coordination with sales, engineering, procurement, logistics, and production teams.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Developing and maintaining a balanced master production schedule that aligns production and inventory with sales forecasts and broader business objectives over a longer horizon. Creating and updating the daily master production schedule based on demand, production capacities, and inventory levels. Coordinating with engineering, procurement, logistics, and production teams to align schedules and resources, and monitoring production progress to adjust schedules for any delays, shortages, or other issues. Analyzing and reporting on production performance, identifying areas for improvement, implementing solutions, and reporting on build targets and achievements to the group. Communicating schedule changes and updates to relevant stakeholders, including the IPM team, in a timely manner. Collaborating with the Sales team on lead time definition during the quotation process and at order entry. Participating in cross-functional meetings to discuss production plans, challenges, and strategies. Ensuring compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards. Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to production schedules and activities.For This Role, You Will Need:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or a similar role. Fluency in English and French, with the ability to work effectively in an English and French-speaking environment. Proficiency in scheduling software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, MS Project, Excel; Odoo is a plus). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Who You Are:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production planning, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices is a plus.
