**Job Title:** Sit-Down Forklift Operator **Location:** Johnstown, OH **Job Type:** Full-Time, [1st/2nd] Shift **Job Description:** We are seeking an experienced **Sit-Down Forklift Operator** to join our team in Johnstown. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience operating a propane-powered sit-down forklift in a warehouse or industrial environment. This role requires the ability to safely and efficiently handle materials, ensure accurate inventory, and maintain a clean work environment. **Key Responsibilities:** + Operate a sit-down propane forklift to move materials around the warehouse or production facility. + Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper stacking and organization. + Transport materials to designated areas, following company safety procedures. + Assist with inventory management and ensure materials are in the correct locations. + Perform routine equipment checks and report any maintenance issues. + Adhere to all safety guidelines and ensure a safe working environment. + Maintain accurate logs of materials handled and movement within the facility. **Qualifications:** + Minimum of 1 year of forklift experience (sit-down, propane). + Valid forklift certification (preferred). + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Good communication skills. + Ability to lift heavy objects and operate machinery safely. + High school diploma or equivalent. **Shift Availability:** + **1st shift** or **2nd shift** available, depending on the position. **Compensation:** + Competitive hourly wage, commensurate with experience. **Pay Details:** $18.00 to $20.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
