Handy Person – Private Hospital (Brisbane)

BGIS is seeking a skilled and versatile Handy Person to join our team at a Private Hospital in Brisbane. If you’ve got experience in a range of trades—whether it's air conditioning, plumbing, painting, tiling, or carpentry—we want to hear from you! In this role, you’ll work closely with the Facilities Manager to ensure smooth operations, with a strong focus on safety and quality at all times.

What You’ll Do:

Perform repairs and maintenance across multiple trades (plumbing, painting, tiling, carpentry, and more).
Meet KPIs and deliver exceptional service in line with contract requirements.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and keep everything on schedule using our systems.
Assist with Capital Works projects, collaborating with contractors to get the job done.
Ensure all work complies with safety and industry standards, reporting issues as necessary.
Foster positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Work closely with the BGIS team and clients to ensure smooth operations.
 

What You’ll Need:

Previous experience in facilities or building maintenance.
A diverse range of trade skills (plumbing, carpentry, painting, etc.).
A strong commitment to safety and adherence to OHS and compliance standards.
Familiarity with maintenance management systems is a plus (but not required).
A positive, proactive attitude with a team-oriented approach.
