Join Our Team as a Site Capital Engineer! 

The Site Capital Engineer is responsible for the design, project management and delivery of the capital project portfolio for the Cobram manufacturing site.

This role will report to the Regional Capital Projects Manager (North) and will interface with operations, maintenance team, equipment suppliers, central engineering and PMO to deliver the capital project portfolio with excellence. 

Your responsibilities will include the design, costing, submission, and implementation of capital projects. Projects under your control must conform to company policies and statutory requirements. You will incorporate safe people, safe systems, and safe workplace methodologies into your daily activities and design principles.

Innovate & Lead: Drive the design and execution of capital projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety and efficiency.Collaborate & Communicate: Work closely with operations, maintenance teams, equipment suppliers, and central engineering to bring projects to life.Impact & Grow: Play a crucial role in building a strong engineering capability, supporting capital investment budgets, and continuously improving project delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Safety First: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and demonstrate safety leadership.Project Excellence: Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with all stakeholders and lead cross-functional project teams.Continuous Improvement: Enhance the speed, efficiency, and accuracy of project specifications and delivery.

What You Bring:

Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering, or relevant Trade Certificate and experience.Experience: Minimum 2 years in engineering and project management within the food & beverage industry.Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, knowledge of dairy process design, and experience with AutoCAD.
