HDR is hiring a Site Civil Engineer to join our Building Engineering Services Group in Orlando, FL.

Primary Responsibilities:

Responsible for the design of facilities related sites in support of a variety of markets including Commercial, Residential, Water/Wastewater, Municipal, Industrial, Power, and FederalCoordinate and work closely with a multidiscipline design team throughout the entire life cycle of projects from planning stages, through the development of construction documents, and construction administrationResponsible for the development of construction drawings, specifications, and supporting engineering calculations, as well as the review of shop drawings during constructionPreferred QualificationsBS Degree in Civil Engineering or related Engineering disciplineMinimum of 4 years of experience in site development and the design of building related site civil (grading, utilities, storm drainage, stormwater management. and erosion control).Strong operating knowledge of Civil 3DMust be self-motivated, collaborative and possess strong leadership skills with an initiative to deliver high quality, technically sound civil site designsPrevious experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firmLocal candidates are preferredRequired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree Previous experience in general civil engineering Professional Engineer (PE) license. Demonstrated leadership and communication skillsProficient with Microsoft Office Good verbal and written communication skills An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
