Dewberry is seeking a Site / Civil Engineering Intern in our Gainesville, VA office for Summer 2025.

Responsibilities

Individual will work on all phases of civil/municipal engineering including grading design, roadway design, storm water management systems design, water and sanitary sewer design, and erosion and sediment control design. Individual may also conduct permitting and code research, write specifications, and preprare and submit permit applications.

Required Skills & Required Experience Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering requiredPrevious internship experience preferredKnowledge of Site / Civil engineering practices including grading design, roadway design, storm water management systems design, water and sanitary sewer design, and erosion and sediment control designStrong oral and written communication skillsProficiency using CADD and Microsoft Office softwareDesire to work in a team environment
