ABOUT THE POSITION

Site/Civil Project Manager | hybrid status | multiple locations in New England

VHB is seeking an experienced Site/Civil Project Manager to support our land development projects.

Responsibilities

Manage work and development of Land Engineering projects and staffDevelop new project opportunities and manage proposal submissionsResponsible for project financial performance and client relationsDevelop site/civil engineering plans and specifications for a multitude of projects Support preparation of land development design and permitting documentsPrepare and review drawings and specifications documenting the systems designedAttend meetings with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to establish their needs and discuss design/permitting issues Supervise design team activities during Construction Administration

 Skills and Abilities

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Self-motivated Attention to detail Ability to think critically Ability to multitaskStrong computer skills (CAD & MS Office)Excels working in a team environment Exhibits strong leadership skills

 Qualifications

BS in Civil Engineering or related degree8+ years of professional site/civil engineering experiencePE licensure in Massachusetts or ability to obtain within 12 months Proficient in site layout, grading, utility design and stormwater management Recent project experience in the Cities of Boston and Cambridge preferredUnderstanding of the Massachusetts marketplace
