Essential Functions of the position are detailed below and include any physical requirements below that + Responsible for hiring, coaching, evaluating, training, and developing staff; Ensures work is performed efficiently, accurately, and within guidelines; Maintains Center operations and ensures compliance with policies and procedures of CCAC and external entities; Maintains flexibility in work location and schedule including working evenings, weekends, and holidays + Develops strategies to increase customer frequency and retention; Ensures adequate staffing and elevated levels of client satisfaction through excellent customer service; Operates with a high degree of independent judgment and consults with the supervisory chain on situations of risk, including conflict resolution with customers, staff, or vendors + Maintains a clean, secure, and safe internal and external environment; Ensures facility repairs are completed and follows best practices to pursue efficiencies and safety + Oversees all aspects of the inventory management at the Center, coordinating the ordering, receiving, distribution, and return processes, as well as estimating future trends; Oversees monthly inventory audits to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data; Reconciles inventory discrepancies in a timely manner; Maintains visual merchandising standards and stock levels + Delivers written and verbal reports of Center operations to WIC leadership team Coordinates and facilitates monthly meetings with staff, co-located partners, and security; Maintains awareness of trends, concerns, updates, and publications related to WIC and community-based initiatives + Addresses and resolves concerns expressed by Center tenants, including WIC clinics, community providers, and other CCAC programs, in a timely manner; Maintains accurate and up-to-date files and data as required by CCAC and external entities; Manages and performs an array of administrative tasks, including collecting, analyzing, and maintaining data to comply with funding requirements PLEASE NOTE: Essential functions include all other duties and responsibilities as assignedX Kneel and move from sitting, bending, kneeling or standing multiple times a dayX Push and pull objects up to 50 poundsX Climb up and down up to 3 flights of stairs at a timeX Lift up to 50 poundsX Additional Requirements: Maybe required to operate heavy machinery; Must be flexible to work at other WIC Food and Nutrition Centers; Must be able to work evening, nights and weekends; Subject to call back during emergency conditions (e.g., severe weather, post-disaster, etc.) Other Requirements Comply with program and/or Agency requirements related to (check all that apply)X Background check, including any program specific requirements Physical examination TB TestingX Drug Testing Driver's License and reliable transportation Agency-specified automobile insuranceX Additional Requirements: This position may require the operation of Heavy Machinery as defined in the Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago Community Development & Outreach Services Drug and Alcohol Policy ("CDOS Drug and Alcohol Testing Policy) Immediate Supervisor: Site DirectorDirectly Supervises: N/AIndirectly Supervises: N/A Education and Experience Requirements: Relevant Education: Preferred: Bachelor's DegreeMinimum: Associate's Degree Relevant Experience:Preferred: 7-9 YearsMinimum: 4-6 Years Certification/Licensure:Preferred: 7 -10 years Management Experience; ServSafe Manager CertificationMinimum: Food Handler Certification
