Job Description

Under the supervision of the Regional Director, the Site Director will be responsible for managing, organizing, and planning the daily activities of the teams to ensure the effectiveness and quality of operations.

Purchase ferrous and non-ferrous materials;Optimal management of site activities;Distribution of trucks;Manage, guide, motivate the team and conduct performance evaluations;Ensure the smooth running of daily operations with the responsible parties and follow up on the execution of all their activities;Closely monitor staff and prepare reports on their performance;Establish priorities, analyze performance gaps, identify business opportunities, and focus on cost reduction using available tools;Write all required reports for management;Work towards achieving budgeted financial results;Promote and manage a customer-oriented team;Continuously seek new, innovative, and value-added services that will improve or simplify processes;Ensure local marketing and respond to the specific needs of the site's customers;Define, develop, and implement improvements to processes, procedures, and operational policies;Apply and enforce health and safety regulations at work. Take necessary steps to ensure the physical safety of the premises;Perform other related tasks.

Work Environment:

Regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions;Exposure to hazardous materials.

Qualifications3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position, ideally in the metal industry;Good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook);Bilingual in French and English.
