Site Engineer
Job Title: Site EngineerJob Description Support the Project Manager and Superintendent on projects with quality and compliance in accordance with contract documents. Process and expedite answers to RFIs from the field. Act as a liaison for subcontractors, architects, and the team on the floor to ensure a high level of communication. Help monitor and write delivery logs and prepare meeting agendas. Expedite punch list items and verify that items on the punch list are being completed. Participate in and contribute to Operation Planning Process, weekly coordination meetings, superintendent meetings, daily crew huddles, and foreman meetings. Responsibilities + Support the Project Manager and Superintendent with project quality and compliance. + Process and expedite answers to RFIs from the field. + Act as a liaison for subcontractors, architects, and the team to ensure effective communication. + Monitor and write delivery logs. + Prepare meeting agendas. + Expedite and verify completion of punch list items. + Participate in Operation Planning Process and various coordination meetings. Essential Skills + Construction management + Mechanical engineering + Experience with RFIs and submittals + Proficiency in Procore or similar project management software + Field engineering + Knowledge of building systems + General contractor experience Additional Skills & Qualifications + Four-year engineering degree related to construction (preferred) + Associates degree in construction-related field or equivalent technical training and related experience + Minimum of four years of construction site experience + Entry-level or internship experience + 1+ years of experience as a Project Engineer, APM, Site/Field Engineer on commercial, industrial/manufacturing, education, or healthcare projects + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills + Experience with procurement logs and vertical construction projects Work Environment The work environment involves commercial, healthcare, and epic projects, primarily based in the Madison area. The role may require staying within the region for the duration of the project. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $38.46/hr.
