As a Site Engineer you will provide support to our Project Manager and Project Engineer on various projects across our Auckland Civil Construction pipeline of work.
Be responsible for monitoring all construction-related works, ensuring that quality, health & safety and environmental aspects are completed to requirements and standards. Be involved in financial aspects, monitoring productivity targets, managing subcontractors from procurement to delivery, and reporting on financial indicators and forecasts. Interact with a wide range of stakeholders, including Client representatives, public and businesses impacted by the project delivery, subcontractors, and suppliers.This is a Full Time, Permanent opportunity based from the Downer Penrose depot.

To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and experience:
A recognised tertiary qualification in the field of Engineering or equivalent field experience Experience delivering either Local Authority, Major Projects, or Private Sector Civil Construction projects Experience working on Roading, Rail, Civil, Streetscape and/or Structures projects Excellent problem-solving and communication skills A strong work ethic with proven resilience A good health & safety related track record Be keen to learn and develop your career
