Job Summary:
As a Site Engineer specializing in construction supervision for energy projects, you will play a critical role in overseeing project execution, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and project schedules. Based in Greece, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality construction outcomes while maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Construction Supervision:
+ Monitor on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with approved designs, specifications, and safety standards.
+ Conduct regular site inspections and provide detailed progress reports.
+ Address technical issues and provide practical solutions to ensure uninterrupted project workflows.
2. Quality Control and Assurance:
+ Ensure all construction work meets quality standards and contractual requirements.
+ Review and approve materials, equipment, and workmanship to align with project specifications.
3. Stakeholder Coordination:
+ Collaborate with home office project management team, contractors, and clients to ensure alignment on project objectives.
+ Attend site meetings and communicate effectively to resolve issues and provide updates on project status.
+ Facilitate clear and timely communication among all parties involved.
4. Documentation and Reporting:
+ Maintain detailed records of construction progress, site activities, and any changes to project plans.
+ Prepare and submit progress reports to stakeholders.
5. Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance:
+ Enforce adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards on-site.
+ Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
Qualifications & Skills
+ Construction experience of more than 5 years, out of which 2 years in construction of natural gas steel pipelines, or natural gas polyethylene pipelines or natural gas connections to end customers.
+ Engineering Diploma or Degree.
+ Solid understanding of local construction regulations and standards in Greece.
+ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
+ Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
+ Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
