**WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING**
As an HR Partner for Convenience Services, you will have the opportunity to add value by fully leveraging the skills and talents of our people. You will support the Plant Manager to deliver the People Roadmap for the Chippenham site. In a true generalist role, you will be responsible for supporting our Production, Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Facilities, and Commercial teams across the full range of activities aligned to the associate lifecycle, including (but not limited to): employee relations, recruitment, training, absence management, HR systems administration, recognition and wellbeing.
Responsibilities Include:
+ Providing professional HR advice and support to managers and associates on a wide range of employment matters including employee relations cases, management of attendance, performance management, diversity and inclusion, employment legislation, HR policies and employee engagement
+ Acting as a point of the contact for the employees and managers in the business
+ Proactively supporting the delivery of HR Processes including performance appraisals and merit review
+ Contributing to HR projects
+ Supporting CPI’s intellectual capital programme which involves retention, development and succession planning
+ Designing and maintaining organization metrics as the performance of the business unit improves
+ Working with hiring managers to manage the recruitment process for the UK and other locations as needed
+ Promoting and managing internal recognition programmes
+ Maintaining accurate records and keeping internal systems up to date
+ Being the first point of contact for associate issues within the business unit
+ Sharing best practices with HR representatives from other CPI sites
+ Supporting the on-boarding of all new associates
+ Understanding and working to ensure HR compliance for UK laws
+ Coaching line managers & associates

Qualifications and Requirements
+ Bachelor’s degree in Human resources or equivalent would be advantageous
+ CIPD level 5 minimum
+ Up to date knowledge of UK employment law is essential
+ At least 2 years of experience working in a generalist HR role
+ Must be proficient with the full suite of Microsoft office programme including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
+ Experience of HR systems such as PeopleSoft and Select HR would be beneficial
