Your work environment at EXP
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Site Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and inspecting project sites to ensure compliance with specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards. This role requires strong observational skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to document findings accurately.
What a day at EXP has in store for you
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations. Identify and document any deviations, defects, or non-compliance issues and report them to the appropriate personnel. Work closely with contractors, engineers, and project managers to resolve issues promptly. Maintain detailed records of inspections, including photographs, reports, and recommendations. Monitor construction progress and ensure that materials and workmanship meet quality standards. Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety regulations on-site. Participate in project meetings and provide updates on site conditions and findings.
What your experience looks like
Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline. 5 years of experience in site inspection, construction supervision, or a related role. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations. Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify potential issues before they escalate. Effective communication and report-writing skills. Proficiency in using inspection tools, software, and technology for documentation. Ability to work independently while coordinating with multiple stakeholders. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various sites as required.
