KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prysmian Group is looking for a Site Installation Engineer in the Land & Jointing Installation department of the Business Unit Transmission, based in Milano.
The Field Installation Engineer reports to the Manager of the Land & Jointing Installation function and will support the Jointing and Land Installation Operations Coordinator in the daily business focusing on manning and equipment availability for the ongoing land HV system installation activities being carried out in the different construction sites.
The Site Installation Engineer will:
Cooperate and support the Jointing and Land Installation Operations Coordinator to ensure the proper manning and the timely installation with the best quality standards of all the accessories required by the contracts.Liaise with Project Management, PMO, Quality and HSE to ensure all project needs are properly evaluated match with both Prysmian and Contractual expectationAttend Site visits, when necessary, to understand technical aspects of the job and check feasibility of solutions as well as to provide technical and logistic supportClient interface, when necessary, for site execution activitiesPlanning of activities optimizing people and equipment’s’ utilizationEnsure Supervision of compliance with internal rules and procedures during the entire process, including QHSE standardsSupervise the preparation of method statements, risk assessment and other documentation necessary to carry out the works on siteWho are we looking for?
Key requirements
