Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Lead Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by providing lead direction to Security Officers at assigned client sites on assigned shifts.  Observes and reports activities and incidents, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.

The Lead Officer maintains the security and safety of the client site by supporting and providing their Security Officers clear guidance and leadership. Position Requirements:

18 years of age or older  High School Diploma or GED Required  Strong computer / technology skills needed Must be reliable, accountable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic Must have a strong grasp of appropriate and professional verbal / written communication Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus  Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner Must be able to conduct interior / exterior patrols throughout shift  Previous security experience required - must have at least 6 months of experience Must have lead experience Must have strong attention to detail for access control - checking employees in and out - it's the largest building in Portland Must have good customer service skills Must be comfortable interacting with transients
