Position Purpose:  

Site Logistics Leader has overall responsibility and accountability for the logistics personnel & operation safety, assets (warehouses, loading facilities) management, and ensure 100% execution of logistics plans to achieve related business goals. The role delivers plant based and administrative leadership to an empowered and work process driven plant organization. Rohm & Hass Electronic Material Dongguan Site Logistics operations scope:

1). Warehouse management, including in plant warehouse and external warehouses.

2). Product relabeling

3). Product transfer between warehouses

4). Raw material receiving and issuing

5). Product loading & unloading

6). Product delivery transportation management

7). Delivery contractor performance management

8). Support for customs clearance for import / export operation, manage relationship with customs office. Maintain AEO from customs house

9). SAP transaction Operation for site Material flow management

10). Inventory management

Major Responsibility:

1). Provide leadership and support through daily actions, coaching and guidance to the site logistics team.

2).Translate and communicate the business & plant strategy and objectives to the site logistics personnel. Provide leadership, coaching and expectations for the personnel participating in the site logistics goal and budget setting process.

3). Coach teams and individuals to set, monitor and achieve goals aligned to the business and site strategies and goals.

4). Ensure an effective EH&S program is in place to achieve EH&S goals and comply with regulatory and permit requirements.

5). Demonstrate priority and commitment through personal behavior. Create an environment that fosters team and individual empowerment. Establish and model expected behaviors for an empowered organization.

6). Ensure implementation and ongoing effectiveness of global working processes, operating discipline, management systems, standards, enabling technologies and roles.

7). Ensure necessary resources are in place to meet site logistics requirements and achieve the plant specific business goals.  Ensure that systems are in place to meet the customer requirements for packaging and shipping of products. Interface with customers as required.

8). Provide administrative leadership and coaching to site logistics personnel. (i.e. role clarity, expectations, compensation, employee development, deployment, recognition systems, etc.)

9). Work in a functional capacity with other sites to leverage resources and best practice for the success of the businesses and DuPont.

Participate on site leadership teams and activities. 

10). Network with the business Supply Chain Leader & China Logistics Leaders and ensure that the business supply chain & logistics strategy is integrated into the site strategy.

11). Work with Sales, CSR, Production and South China Supply Chain Operation to ensure the customer expectation is met.

12). Utilize improvement tools, such as 6 sigma, to continue improve the Site Logistics operation performance in terms of EHS, customer service, cost reduction.

Qualifications:

Education: B.S Degree in engineering or a related Science.

Proven and solid experience in warehouse and shipping management.

Rich experience in continuous improvement and project management.

5 to 10 years working experiences in Supply Chain or M&E, with leadership experience preferred.

CPIM and GBPL will be better.

Proficiency in English is a necessary, need to join and present English meeting.

Excellent computer skill with Office software and data analyses, Experience in SAP.
