Site Logistics Project Coordinator

HIGH LEVEL TASKS OF THE BODY

The job holder is responsible for managing the interfaces between production, warehouse/distribution centres, logistic and construction site considering the coordination of internal and customer requirements and the use of subcontractors.

IMPORTANT DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Co-development and implementation of transport and storage strategies, along with optimization of the planning and tracking systems with focus on jobsite deliveries.Support in planning and overseeing transport and delivery tasks to ensure on-time delivery of heavy-, oversize and general cargo shipmentsOn-site coordination of warehouse and delivery activities following the warehouse calendar and delivery deadlines in alignment with storage subcontractor.Support in optimization of multimodal / road transport flows regarding routes and loadsMonitoring of implementation of measures out of transport permits and required documentation.Supporting the logistic team in collecting and updating logistics key figures.Close cooperation with internal and external functions and subcontractors to reach the overall logistic targets.Support with contractual customer requirements regarding logistic topicsWork activities during night possibleFrequent traveling to the jobsites in Germany and project office (~80%)

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Successfully completed studies or apprenticeship in logistics, supply chain, transport engineering, or an equivalent qualification.Minimum of 3 years relevant professional experience, preferably in project logistics and heavy-, oversized multimodal transportation.First experiences in jobsite deliveries are an advantage, but not a must.Proficient in German C1 and English at B1 level or higher.Good MS Office skills, preferably knowledge in MS Excel and PowerPoint.Adaptable and forward-thinking approach, with an understanding of project relevant key figures, e.g., logistic budget, delivery reliability.Project and client-oriented mindset, focusing on aligning project goals with client needs and expectations.Proactive communication and effective problem-solving skills in accordance with laws and regulations.Team player, stress resistant with strong conflict resolution skillsAbility to negotiate as well as perseverance and assertiveness.
