Description Our Site Leader is responsible for all budgetary, people development, and operational objectives. The Site Leader oversees all aspects of operations and functions at the site. Additional responsibilities include managing and leading a team of Operations and Area Managers, coaching and mentoring the team to ensure performance objectives are met, fostering positive employee relations, and developing leadership bench strength within the Sorting Center. Additionally, the role involves ensuring effective stakeholder management within Delivery Stations, Fulfillment Centers, Safety, Loss Prevention, and Middle Mile teams. Key job responsibilities - Drive the creation of quality initiatives, process improvement initiatives, and other Lean strategies to help their functional area and the SC exceed business goals; - Oversee the overall safety, quality, performance, and customer experience of Inbound, Processing, or Outbound operations; - Define and clarify requirements and expectations for Operations and Area Managers, measure performance, provide feedback, and hold them accountable for their individual and departmental performance; - Leverage Operations and Area Managers by sourcing and developing ideas and integrating them into improvement plans for the functional area; - Take proactive steps to ensure best practices are shared across all departments, shifts, and throughout the network; - Collaborate closely with support teams (HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT, and other Senior Operations Managers) to secure necessary resources for projects and initiatives while also providing support for cross-functional initiatives. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or equivalent; - Experience leading people and shop floor operations; - English Knowledge for communication oral and written; - Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
