ChristianaCare is currently seeking a full-time Site Manager for our Holloway Community Program. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising ambulatory practice support caregivers and ensuring that the daily activities of their clinics and programs are being followed. Provides front-line direction and problem-solving, serves as the first accountable leader when expectations are not being met, and provides assistance and support to the team to create an environment for caregivers to provide high quality care to their patients.
The Holloway Program facilitates and coordinates care of patients (pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric) with HIV, HCV, and other infectious diseases and for HIV prevention. They serve as a resource for ChristianaCare Health System caregivers, as well as a liaison to community partners. Education and counseling to patients and families related to health care and disease management is also a priority.
**The home base for this position is located on the 6th floor of the Gateway Building, Wilmington campus. This position also supports satellite locations in Smyrna and Georgetown, DE.
Key Responsibilities
Leads recruitment, onboarding, retention, and offboarding activities of ambulatory practice caregivers (ie MAs, OOAs, RNs) Completes Check-ins and Annual Performance Evaluations of assigned caregivers (MAs, OOAs, RNs) Provides on-site support and direction for daily problem-solving of associate, patient, and provider concerns.Ensures that clinic staffing is in place to support the activities and services within their assigned clinic(s) and services. Addresses caregiver staffing gaps by securing and redeploying caregivers as needed. Notifies providers of changes in staffing and the actions being taken to restore staffing levels. Monitors and coaches front desk caregivers (OAs) to ensure that standard operating procedures and workflows are being followed related to registration, phone management, scheduling, and copay collection activities. Monitors and coach’s non-provider caregivers to ensure that standard operating procedures and workflows are being followed related to rooming patients, data collection, documentation, and all other assigned activities in support of high-quality patient care. Conducts daily charge and cash reconciliations in accordance with established policies and procedures. Ensures that supply levels are maintained to support the activities of the clinic. Responsible for planning and leading monthly clinic meetings with all non-provider caregivers to share results, celebrate successes, obtain feedback and ideas, address questions and concerns, and provide updates and notifications. Supervises and trains non-provider caregivers on daily cash handling and copay collections per established policies and procedures. Approves all caregiver timecards as assigned. Performs assigned work safely, adhering to established departmental safety rules and practices. Reports to supervisor, in a timely manner, any unsafe activities, conditions, hazards, or safety violations that may cause injury to oneself, other employees, patients and visitors.Performs other duties as required.Education and Experience Requirements
