Site Manager II
Overview ***This position is physically located in the Philippines in support of LOGCAP*** The Site Manager II reports to the Site Manager III and is responsible for assisting in the day to day operational execution of all LOGCAP Program functions for the appropriate Task Order. Site Manager II is responsible for problem resolution, planning, execution, and leadership of LOGCAP forward functions. Assists the Task Order Manager with the budget for the Task Order project. The Deputy Task Order Manager must demonstrate exemplary management and leadership capabilities, especially in the areas of collaboration, team building, talent development, fiscal and human resources management, and process improvement. The Deputy Task Order Manager interfaces with prime contractor leadership at all levels in the location for mission accomplishment and problem resolution. Manages and directs day to day operations on task order. Responsibilities This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company. Assist the Site Manager III with the day-to-day operations of the assigned sites; provides oversight to the assigned Operations staff. Duties may include: support of complex and/or technologically challenging tasks including the leadership in generating the Task Plan and Cost Proposal. Provides guidance during the task implementation, conducting technology assessments and making recommendations for technology insertions. Ensuring operational support to customers, providing technical consultation advice to Department Managers regarding design issues, development, and test approaches Leading teams established by the Task Order Manager to conduct investigations of programmatic or task-level problems and to make recommendations for recovery plans. Develops, maintains, and reports technical performance metrics which effectively measure the level of performance in execution of the SOW and IDIQ Task Orders. Tracks requirements and executes all mission requirements at Subic Bay. Provides direction and discipline to employees and is responsible for the evaluation of personnel performance. Develops implements and applies management control procedures. Ensures that quality standards are applied to all levels of the work and measured for effectiveness. Establishes policies and procedures for performance and control of all company business management functions. Directs/monitors the development of project standard operating procedures and project orders. Ensures that material maintenance, transportation, supply, operation of Government-automated systems is properly managed. Provides leadership, consultation, and mentoring to all assigned personnel, creates development opportunities for junior leaders and fosters a culture of continuous teaming throughout the organization. For his/her assigned location/area ensures that organizational goals are in alignment with V2X objectives Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education if degree is required. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Project Management or equivalent knowledge and experience preferred. Six Sigma Green Belt Certification desired PMP certification desired. Must be CAC eligible and/or able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) Must be a U.S. Citizen Can be able to obtain and maintain secret clearance. Experience: Five to eight years as a manager in a multi-discipline environment comparable to that offered under this contract. Preferred background in military installation base support/infrastructure management. Skills: Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Knowledgeable of how to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. Must be able to read, write and speak the English language with proficiency. Requires a collaborative work style, fostering cooperation, and teamwork. Must exercise discretion and good sound judgment. Must have high level of proficiency in the use of MS Office and/or other related applications. Supervisory Responsibilities: Assists with the Management of assigned personnel as required. Working Conditions: Must be capable of working in various weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Physical Requirements: Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.
