Site Operational Excellence Leader Puerto Rico
The Puerto Rico Site Operational Excellence Leader (SOEL) is responsible to facilitate and lead the implementation of lean-driven Operational Excellence strategies, programs framework and initiatives developed by the CPS Global Transformation team in partnership with the CPSNA OE Manager to build OE culture including mindsets and behaviors in the site. Lead and executing productivity improvement opportunities and value creation initiatives in the site. Lead capability development and certification programs in Puerto Rico plant to develop and train all levels of associates in the use of OE and 6 Sigma, processes, tools, and methodologies. Works closely with the ABBP SOEL as well with the other functions in the PR site. **What you'll do for us:** + Serve as a member of the Operational Excellence CPS NA team and key player to drive the transformation of the new organization as well as the team's engagement. + Promotes and supports an effective development of organizational capabilities as part of CPS NA BP objectives focusing on PR site. + Conduct Voice of the Customer (internal and external) analysis, focus group discussions, structured interviews, and research to identify potential areas for improvement in execute and support the strategies agreed for PR site. + Implement a robust CPS NA assessment plan to bring all functions in the plant to the required OE maturity levels. + Ensure discipline in the application of OE systems, tools, and techniques for continuous improvement in PR site. + Communicate, and implement OE strategies, routines, and programs, including the development of the continuous improvement standards, infrastructure, recognition program to build value creation culture and PMO process. + Coach and train PR site associates at all levels on OE principles, systems, tools and methodologies. This also includes 6 Sigma systems and tools. + Identify and develop PR site OE change agents. + Monitor the metrics and trends for PR site to ensure Operational Excellence efforts deliver significant value and productivity improvements in a sustainable manner. Supervisory Responsibilities and Organization Impact/Influence + Individual Contributor + Influence role within PR site in partnership with the ABBP SOEL **Qualification and Requirements:** + Minimum 3 years in the position or similar function as: + Lean/Operational Excellence + Project Management (in multi-cultural setting preferred) + Proven Lean/OE project implementation leadership. + Proven track record in managing and developing people and delivering results Education + Industrial, Production, Chemistry Engineer, of Foods, or similar graduation.
