JR65035 Site PlannerAs a Site Planner, you will provide a Statement of Supply and Commit Plan to Tactical Supply Planning (TSP) to meet Customer and Business Requirement in tactical planning horizon for your product lines, taking into account of capacity needs/analysis for production requirements. You will work collaboratively with TSP and the Global Central Planning (ATTP), and Site Management (Production, Engineering, Warehouse and Logistics) to monitor and mitigate capacity constraint and ensure commitment are delivered in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
Create Statement of Supply Commits for demand fulfillment
• Production scheduling and output planning to meet demand plan on time, based on but not limited to inventory availability, capacity constraints, cycle time considerations, yield, etc.
• Usage of software/system tools (MAM/SAP/Tableau) to improve planning and production efficiency.
Oversee the execution of weekly plan by serving as Central Communication Hub between Support Groups
• Communicate priorities/special instructions and resolve issues between various departments towards meeting weekly plan.
• Analyze key performance indices for production areas and highlight gaps for efficiency/performance improvements.
• Understand and track production plan misses and backfill these into subsequent week’s plan as required.
Provide Tactical-Period Capacity Plan and Priorities
• Communicate Weekly Capacity Allocation with its Tactical Period Constraints, Issues, Priorities, and Special Instructions.
• Setting/Managing Weekly Allocation for Production and other activities (Engineering, QA, Equipment, etc).
• Work with Industrial Engineering (IE), ATTP, TSP on mitigating Tactical Period capacity constraints.
• Ensure accurate capacity model through periodic audits and validation of workstation performance.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders to enhance models as needed in order to provide the right accuracy or functionality.
Manage Global Inventories
• WIP management within the Tactical Planning projection to optimize cycle time.
• Work with Site Manufacturing to manage aging or inactionable Inventory periodically to maintain optimal inventory level globally.
• Set up and manage Bank Inventory as needed.
• Work with Network Sites and ATTP to manage inventory site balancing through inter-site shipping strategies.
• Collaborate with Central Planning and Global Supply Chain in Planning system/process adoption.
Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Computer/Chemical engineering preferable.
At least 2 years of involvement in Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) during university, with leadership roles being an added advantage.
Good command of written and spoken English.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.
Pro-active, meticulous, resourceful and strong team player.
Highly motivated to work in a dynamic environment, with good integrity and character.
Proficient in Microsoft tools like Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Tableau / Programming skill will be an added advantage.
