Job Family Definition:

Provides technical data and consulting to customers and works with their engineers to ensure the mechanical, electrical and structural design will support the system being installed

Responsibilities:

Plans the mechanical installation of the system, from determining unloading methods to

staffing requirements to tools/supplies/etc.

Supports the mechanical installation of large air and liquid cooled systemsProvides technical support to field engineers, technicians and product support personnel whom are diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging complex electro/mechanical equipmentResponds to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software. Resolves extremely complex technical issues in creative and effective waysReports design, reliability and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineeringWorks directly with customer on technical support issues to recommend and resolve customer problemsProvides support to customer/users where the product is highly technical or sophisticated in natureMay lead larger scope project relating to service issuePosition requires travel which can vary from 30% to 75% depending on shipping schedule.

Education and ExperienceBachelors degree or equivalent experience.Typically 0-2 years of experience in a business or facilities-related function.Knowledge and Skills:​Knowledge of principles, practices and procedures of particular field of specializationAbility to communicate effectively across the function and often across organizational boundaries, or with customers, recommends solutionsStrong problem solving/analytical skillsStrong ingenuity and creativity Ability to exercise judgment to determine appropriate actionAbility to work independentlyAbility to present more complex information, with less preparation time to a wider audienceInfluencing skillsGovernment Security Clearance helpful or must have the ability to obtain this type of clearance

The expected salary/wage range for a U.S.-based hire filling this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. USD Annual Salary: $47,500.00 - $101,000.00
