Site Procurement Manager

As a Site Procurement Manager for the Amazon Fulfillment Center team, you will serve as the bridge between Global Procurement and the site leadership. You will own the site’s procurement operation responsibilities , including vendor management of service and goods, purchase order management and inventory management. Key job responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Operations - Serve as procurement subject matter expert on the site, delivering strategic guidance and operational excellence - Lead network-wide vendor negotiations and relationship management - Drive cost optimization and innovative procurement solutions - Oversee end-to-end procurement operations, including: Purchase order management and Supplier payment processes - Control inventory and Packaging materials forecasting Team & Vendor Management - Lead and develop Non-inventory procurement team members - Manage facilities services contracts (janitorial, utilities, etc..) - Ensure vendor SLA compliance through KPI monitoring - Champion safety and procurement best practices Financial & Stakeholder Partnership - Partner with Finance on budgets and performance metrics - Build relationships with internal/external stakeholders - Collaborate with global procurement organization - Drive continuous improvement initiatives Compliance & Risk Management - Maintain procurement policy compliance - Implement risk management strategies - Ensure corporate governance adherence - Foster cross-functional partnerships A day in the life Work is done in a warehouse environment that requires frequent walking around the building. Due to the interaction with Global Teams, English is a mandatory Basic Qualification. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related fields; - Experience in Procurement or Supply chain positions; - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; - Experience in vendor relationship management and contract negotiation; - Advanced English (written and verbal). Preferred Qualifications - Experience in procurement; - Experience in Coupa or other financial management/procurement software; - Experience leading and developing an operation team.
