Job Title: Site Project Coordinator

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Site Project Coordinator to join our team on-site at a stamping facility in Oakville, Ontario. This facility is currently being set up to produce F-250 vehicles. The project spans 18 months, with the initial phase focusing on overseeing the installation of machinery and parts by October. The Site Project Coordinator will be the primary on-site contact, ensuring smooth operations and coordination between contractors while identifying and addressing any gaps.

ResponsibilitiesWork with contractors to ensure the installation phase runs smoothly.Coordinate the storage of incoming parts and machinery.Ensure project dates and deadlines are met.Maintain awareness of construction and health & safety laws.Liaise between the site representative and contractors, serving as the eyes and ears on-site.Escalate any scheduling or deadline issues as necessary.Essential Skills5-10 years of experience in project coordination, site supervision, or site superintendent roles.Experience in scheduling and ensuring deadlines are met, including the ability to escalate and provide solutions.Site experience in industrial, manufacturing, or construction environments.Strong communication skills to effectively interact with project stakeholders and higher management.Ability to stand firm and assertive when dealing with contractors.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in the industrial or automotive industry.Proficiency in Microsoft Project.Work Environment

The Site Project Coordinator will work at the stamping facility currently being built out. The facility includes an existing structure and two adjacent buildings used to store large pressed parts, some weighing up to 380,000 pounds. This role offers the opportunity to have a significant impact on the success of the new stamping location, with the potential for future projects and roles within the organization. The environment is dynamic, and there will be plenty of activities to keep you engaged and challenged

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $55.00
