Site Reliability Developer

Job Duties: Solve complex problems related to infrastructure cloud services and build automation to prevent problem recurrence. Design, write, and deploy software to improve the availability, scalability, and efficiency of Oracle products and services. Design and develop designs, architectures, standards, and methods for large-scale distributed systems. Facilitate service capacity planning and demand forecasting, software performance analysis, and system tuning. May telecommute. (385.18356)

 

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field and followed by 8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in a Site Reliability Developer-related occupation. Position requires:

 

Operating systems (UNIX ��� Linux, Solaris); Middleware products: WebLogic and Database; Web and Application Servers: Apache-based, WebLogic Application Server, WebSphere Application Server, JBOSS, Tomcat, JIRA; Developing and administering Middleware infrastructure having Oracle SOA, WebLogic, Oracle Web Center Content, Oracle Web center IPM, WebLogic 12c; Upgrading the imaging infrastructure comprising of Oracle WebCenter, Oracle SOA & WebLogic from 11g to 12c version; Migration of imaging infrastructure; Cloud computing platforms such as Oracle Cloud, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Cloud Foundry; Automate support tasks and improve existing processes/procedures using Ansible, Python and shell scripting; Design, develop and test sync loader and transaction modules; Configure application dependencies like Data Sources and Message queues; Configure CI (Continues Integration) environment, to build and deploy automatically using Jenkins.
